Leather saddles are a popular choice for the long distance cyclist and serious enthusiast. Like top quality hiking boots, the thick and durable cowhide used on our saddles requires a “breaking in” period to allow it form to the anatomy of the owner. When that happens, the saddle will begin to feel comfortable while still offering firm support. It will continue to get more comfortable over time, which is one of the reasons why these old world looking designs are still sought after today.

The Cambria is our Sport model. It is narrower to benefit those who ride in a little more aggressive / forward leaning seating position. Try the Cambria on road race bikes and mountain bikes.

The Mercia, Wessex, and Cornwall are our Touring Models. They are designed to be more comfortable in a more upright riding position. They share the same “fuller bodied” shell and are excellent for all-around use.
